Matt Murphy, Founder and CEO of Operation Light Shine (OLS) was on the front lines of the global war on terror as an elite special operations soldier. Matt had virtually unlimited resources, personnel and support to wage that fight against terrible evil in the world. In 2019, Matt’s sister, Sarah was kidnapped and murdered by sex traffickers. Missing for almost two months her body was discovered on Christmas Eve 2019. Since Sarah’s death, Matt refocused his efforts to shine a light on yet another evil in the world, the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children. Matt quickly saw that law enforcement agencies are woefully under resourced, understaffed and under supported in this fight. Through OLS Matt will ensure that law enforcement has the resources, staff and support they need to fight against child sexual exploitation and trafficking. Learn More at operationlightshine.org
